BAJEE completed 4 years of social service to women of Bihar &
Jharkhand. BAJEE has trained 60 women/ girls in its
EARN-AT-HOME
Courses, namely, Tailoring, Hand Embroidery, Basic Beauty
Training, Bag Making and Jewellery Designing Alhamdolillah besides
imprating basic education to 30 students.
BAJEE Centre, Patna organized a certificate distribution Function on
7th June 2010. 22 successful students of 2009-2010 batch were presented
with tailoring certificates issued by BAJEE. The function started with
Mrs Ladly Suri giving an introduction of BAJEE,its aims and objectives.
Her speech was followed by a speech by Mrs Sadia on the topic
"importance of social work in Islam, and how our
dear prophet (saw) helped others throughout his life".
After that students shared their experiences . Then certificates were
handed out to students by Mrs Sinha co-chairman of "Shoshit Samadhan
Kendra" and our teachers.
The guest list included:
1. Mrs Pratibha Sinha,
co-chairman of "Shoshit Samadhan Kendra", which is working for the
upliftment of poorest musahars and has eastablished a residential
school which looks after all needs of these students including free
medical treatment for diseases like leprosy (very common in this
community).
2. Mrs Gauri Shankar,
wife of Dr. Gauri Shankar (famous Surgeon of Bihar). She helps BAJEE
with some monthly contribution.

BAJEE hopes that, inshallah the tailoring centre will move to some
other city, we are finalizing preparations to start Women’s computer
training centres in Patna, inshallah.
