A moron that I am

I am a moron,
For I have seen that hole.
I have watched it shamefacedly,
In my bleak adolescence!!
I have watched it, as a grave aground,
As potholes that on roads abound.
In the depth of intellectual fanaticisms,
In the cleansing of our submerged sins,
I’ve watched it lounging in the neighbor’s disdain,
I’ve watched it squirming in the dishonest gain,
As a jeering in the ruler’s refrain,
Over such unworthy flesh that died in vain.
Hidden behind a great Revelation,
As horror in the eyes of a would-be slain.
As a by-product of some listless brain,
As the stinking smell of an open drain.
I’ve watched it in the pious discourse,
I’ve watched it in AK’s assaulting force,
Method in the madness is their way,
In their hands as the AK’s sway.
Isn’t it a mercy then, that I am a mere moron?
For I have seen that hole, from which blood oozes,
That bloody hole made clear by the passing of bullet
Through man’s easy spot - his gullet!

Message from a senior member

“It gives me immense pleasure to come out with my comments on the activities of Bihar Anjuman. I was for the first time apprised of the activities of Bihar Anjuman through Janab Enam Khan sb. an energetic convener of this impressive organization. I was fortunate to attend one or two meetings in between, enumerating the various activities of the Anjuman and I could know for the first time, the valuable contributions being imparted by this growing organization. I was indeed exceedingly amused that many young boys whiling away their time received adequate training at the campus of Imarat Sharia, Phulwarisharif in different branches of electronic and mechanical fields. After completing the training courses, they could get jobs outside the country with the help of Bihar Anjuman at various locations abroad. Additionally, the trainees in the pipeline are also likely to be recruited insha Allah to different countries overseas, with the co-operation of young and smart professionals working at Jeddah and other Arab cities through the good offices of the Anjuman.

I wish such centers of training may also be started at various divisional headquarters for the convenience of students coming from remote areas. However, I do appreciate and congratulate Imarat Shariah, Phulwarisharif for the immense dedication and interest shown in imparting such useful training programs. I was deeply impressed to know that Anjuman has brought out a new journal “Bakhabar”, imparting fresh and recent information on current topics, most needed in these days. I personally feel that this journal will form a storehouse of interesting information and in disseminating the latest developments in various fields of human activities.

It was interesting to note that a new organization like ‘Bajee’ was imparting useful information and training in Computer Science to young girls which was definitely a healthy move and must be appreciated. I pray that the Anjuman may rise to the highest glory in days to come-Ameen”
