GUIDELINES
| A) | The
Gujarat Education Fund Scholarship is offered to the students of
riot hit families of the Gujarat State. |
| B) | The SIT will decide the number of awards every year according to the availability of the funds. |
| C) | The
best candidates emerging from a scrutiny of the applications will be
invited only for Interview for the academic year 2005-2006. |

CONDITIONS
OF ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP |
|
| A) | Student
must be a member of riot hit family of Gujarat State. |
| B) | Applicant
should be studying as a regular student and should not be studying in
any institution/university which offer Correspondence Courses/Distance
Education. |
|
HOW
TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM |
|
| A) | Application
must fill clearly with ballpoint pen in Block Capital Letters. |
| B) | All informations, correct and complete Present as well as Permanent Address with Pin Code must be provided otherwise the application may not be processed. |
|
NECESSARY
ATTACHMENTS FOR THE COMPLETION OF APPLICATION |
|
| A) | Two
identical Passport Size Photographs, out of which one should be
pasted in the space provided in the application form and the other
should be stapled on the left corner of the application form. |
| B) | Attested
copy of the Birth Certificate in case the date of birth is not
given in the certificates. |
| C) | Attested
copy of the Marksheet of qualifying examination. |
| D) | Two
self-addressed envelopes of size 10”x4”. |

IMPORTANT
NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS |

| A) | Candidate
is advised to read all the above-mentioned points carefully and DETACH
THIS PAGE for their future reference before filling up the
Application Form. |
| B) | All
applicants are required to show their Original Documents at the time of Interview. |
| C) | Application
forms may be sent directly to The SIT Office, New Delhi on the
address mentioned above or to our counterpart in Gujarat will only be

| D) | The
SIT will not be responsible for postal delays. Hence, the candidate is
advised to send the Duly Completed Application Forms alongwith the
required documents, well in advance so as to reach on or before 30th
September 2005, the last date of submission of the application form. |
| E) | In
case a candidate has not yet admitted upto 30th September 2005,
he/she should submit/send the application form positively before the
last date but he/she will have to submit the proof of admission and the
Bonafide Certificate at the time of Interview. |
| F) | The
decision of the Selection Committee of The SIT during the whole
programme will be final and binding on all the candidates. |
| G) | Selection
will be based purely on need and merit of the student. |
