Therefore, zakah funds may be used to impart literacy to them. Yateem girls will be accommodated in a hostel which is the first building being built [structure of 3 floors are ready, thus 24 rooms can be used once finishing work is completed]. Hostel is planned to become functional by December 2012, insha-Allah, after completing the boundary wall. You may donate (from any funds at your disposal) for: (A) Sponsor construction cost for eisal-e-sawab and sadaqa-e-jaariya: (a) construction of class-rooms (one classroom: Rs. 4 lakhs): total number of classrooms planned = 15 (architectural dwg @ http://bit.ly/eFUnHI) (b) Finishing and furnishing of hostel rooms: Rs. 50,000 per room): total number of rooms planned = 24 (architectural dwg @ http://bit.ly/eFUnHI). Rooms are ready, finishing work is required. Furnishing of classroom is reqd (White Boards, benches, tables, chairs, grill in windows, plaster, painting, electrical works, fans, lights, etc.) (c) Construction of a library-cum-reading room @ Rs. 5 lakhs + furniture @ Rs. 1 lakh (d) Construction of the office room @ Rs. 3.5 lakhs + finishing + office furniture, almirah, locker, computer, printer, etc. @ Rs. 1.5 lakhs (e) Construction of a dining hall, and a kitchen @ Rs. 6.0 lakhs + kitchen furniture and equipment, (f) Hand pump for drinking water, Rs. 20,000/= (with platform), near hostel building – deep drilling is required, by the rock-driller. (g) 2 Overhead water-tanks + 1 electric submersible pump + sanitary fittings, sanitary and plumbing work for hostel building’s bath-rooms on every floor, Rs. 2.5 lakhs (including inside finishing). (B) Regular (monthly, quarterly, annual) contribution: (a) Sponsor the principal’s salary @ Rs. 10,000 per month, (b) Sponsor a teaching staff @ Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6,000 per month. Currently, 5 teachers (2 male + 3 females) are teaching; one more lady teacher is about to be appointed. (c) Sponsor a non-teaching staff (matron, peon, muhassil, etc.) @ Rs. 3,000 to 4,000 per month (d) sponsor a student's expenses (non-resident): Rs. 200 per month. (e) Sponsor a resident student’s expenses @ Rs. 800 per month (with food) Educate poor girls; give them class-rooms and drinking water facility (in hostel – pic below) 41st Awards Ceremony @ RAHBAR Coaching Centre, Patna on 20th January 2013, at Najam High School, Phulwari Sharif: Janab Syed Saifullah Qadri, C.A., M/s S. Qadri & co., Patna, adorned the occasion as Chief Guest, while Janab Rustam Ali sb (Ret. Telecom Manager, Bihar), Janab Mallick Habib Ghufran Sb, ret Principal of Narvodya vidyalay, Mr. Arun Kumar, Teacher, Janab Sajjad Ahmad, Science Teacher, Janab Jameel Mazhari Sb, and Janab Mohd Enam Khan Sb were the Special Invitees on the occasion. Nishi Sultan, a student of class 10th at RCC Patna recited the holy Quran before commencement of proceedings. Janab Mohd Enam Khan Sb. introduced all the guests and invitees to the audience, and pointed out that only three students are wearing winter Jacket which was given to them and no girl student was wearing shawl. However, they said, outside we are told by other boys students that this is from zakat money, so it is haram. However, Rustam Ali sb explained what is zakat and told them to take care of target and do not mind on others comment. You have to achieve your goal with hard labor. Janab Ghufran sb once again explained the new methodology of reading books and how to retain in one's memory what one has read. Syed Saifullah Qadri sb was quite impressed with the work of BA and expressed his sincere happiness at meeting the RCC students. He motivated them to study charter accountancy. He explained how this is also one of the best career opportunities available to the hard-working students. |
Bihar Anjuman distributes 240 blankets to the needy, in Darbhanga, Sheikhpura, and Chapra (Saran) districts:
Benevolent brothers living in Muscat sponsored 80 blankets for each of the three districts, that is, a total of 240 blankets. These blankets were distributed through local chapters, or active organizations in each location. A sum of Rs. 28,470/= was sent to each unit to purchase and distribute the blankets. Total Rs. 85,410/= worth of blankets were arranged for the poor destitute families to fight against a record-breaking winter season in Bihar. Below are some more pics from the blanket distribution ceremony arranged by Darbhanga chapter: 17th Awards Ceremony @ RAHBAR Coaching Centre, Samastipur, @ Tajpur, on 6th January 2013, at the Tajpur Public School: Janab Aabid Rafi Sb (MBA) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Special Invitees included Janab Shakir Raza Sb (BRP, Tajpur Block), Janab Alhaj Md. Murad Sb, former member of Samastipur District Board, Janab Abu Mohammad Fakhruddin Sb, Janab Nooruzzoha Sb, and Janab Abrar Ahmad Sb among others. The program started at 10:30 am with recital of the Holy Qura’n by Munira Iqbal, a student of RCC Tajpur. Janab Alhaj Md. Murad Sb, former member of Samastipur District Board presided over the ceremony. Janab Abrar Ahmad Sb Suggested the students to reform them self and seek help from their respective teacher in case they feel uneasiness and inconvenience. Janab Aftab Ahmad "Äafu" advised the students to work hard and grow the habit of reading good books which may not be part of the syllabus but could change their lives. He urged the teachers to look into the consistently below-expectations results of the 9th grade students. The chief guest, Janab Aabid Rafi Sb advice the students not to remain idle even for a momemnt, and said that they should always engage themselves in some constructive task, and become ideals for all the other students. Janab Murad Saheb, in his presidential address, urged the students to work harder and harder because real happiness comes only after hard work. The program came to end with dua-kalam. More details http://samastipur.biharanjuman.org/ 15th Awards ceremony @ RAHBAR Coaching Centre, Hazaribagh, on 14th January 2013, at RCC Millat Academy, Khirgaon, Hazaribagh: As Chief Guest, Jb. Moin Ansari ( Social Activist, Businessman) graced the ceremony, while as Special Invitees, Prof. Riyaz Ahmad (Geography, G.M. College Hazaribagh), and Syed Shadab (M.B.A, Distributer, Rainbow Publication) attended this event. The ceremony began with the recital of the holy Quran by Roushan Jahan, a student of Grade IX. After that a Naat- Shareef was presented in a choir by Heena Perveen, Sana Samshad and Khushboo Perveen, all of Grade IX. A poem was Presented by Shampa Madesia on the disastrous consequences of cutting down trees. The Chief Guest in his address asked the students to look forth towards their future and concentrate on their aim of life. Concentration and dedication to your target bring success. Never to be disheartened at your failure and to rise up again more strongly to achieve your aim and ambition. The Guest of Honour Syed Shadab condemned the narrow-mindedness of the people regarding caste and creed. He called the students for rejecting and denying these things from their lives. They should not fall into the trap of the advocates of caste, communalism or religious fanatics. They should only keep their attention towards their study and success of Here and Hereafter. The next Guest of Honour praised the RCC local committee and the teachers for the praiseworthy work and dedication shown towards the academic development of the students. He also asked the students to take full advantage and benefit of the free teaching being given to them by the teachers. RAHBAR Coaching Centre, Nalanda @ Asthawan conducted its 2nd Awards Ceremony on 6th January 2013, at Anjuman Falah Library, Village Asthawa, Distric Nalanda (Bihar). Janab Maulana Mohammad Manzoomi Sb. graced the function as Chief Guest, while Special Guests on the occasion included Janab Mufti Amjad Alam Sb., Janab Md. Aqeel Ahmad Sb., Janab Shamim Alvi Sb., Janab Shahbaz Alam Sb., Janab Danish Ghani, Mr. Rajkumar (teacher), Mr. Anudheer Kumar (teacher), Janab Azam Alam Sb. (teacher), and Janab Alhaj Wajihuddin Gilani Sb., founder of Gilani foundation. The 2nd Award Ceremony of RAHBAR Coaching Centre, Asthawan, Nalanda was organized on 06/01/2013 at New Muslim Marriage Hall, Asthawan. The Award Ceremony started at 9:00 am with recital of the Holy Quran by Mufti Md. Amjad Alam. Then awards have been distributed among the students for scoring good marks and best students. Md. Aqeel Ahmad presided over this award ceremony function. Mufti Md. Amjad recited verse of Holy Quran to start this function. Maulana Manzoomi has described the importance of education in Islam. He informed about the importance of Islam and education in people life. He briefed about Surah Iqra and what ALLAH gave massage by this Surah, even explained that our Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) encouraged education by asking prisoners to teach some people and get relieved. He also explained that how to enhance the knowledge and make a good career. Mr. Aqeel also encouraged students. He praised Bihar Anjuman in his speech for their good effort to minimize the illiteracy in Muslim community. Local supervising committee of RCC Asthawan was also there. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Team leader of RCC, Asthawan Md. Wajih Uddin Gilani. He also described the importance of education in our life as well as in Islam. The ceremony concluded at 11:30 am. |
