SALAH, THE
SECOND & THE MOST PRECIOUS RUKN OF ISLAM
Allah,
graced us a very precious gem, called “SALAH” i.e. NAMAZ, the prayer to
Allah or an opportunity of direct interaction with Him. One can ask
what ever he wants, dialect & pray for directly with the
supreme
power, who allocates every thing to this vast universe & Is
omnipotent.
Namaz is not at all a new concept in the period
(Nabuwat) of Mohammad(SAW) & his followers (Ummah-e Mohammadi)
but
it was essential to the ummahs of all prophets, may be in different
forms, types, style, method, times, frequency etc.
Through this
Namaz , one can make owns to his God and having a separable times to
dialect with him. What a fine moment that we have been allowed to
interact instant & directly with the supreme power of the
universe,
the creator of each and every things, tiny or giants.
NAMAZ (Ones
self opinion and use to get understand as abbreviation) stands for
NONETH but ALLAH MAKES ALL of
us for ZENITH
bestowed upon us. Namaz is nothing but the best form of prayer in the
world to praise Allah.
You must have paid attention that whenever
there is time for Namaz (five times), a welfare sound is pronounced and
recalled all the peoples that the time is appealing you for your
betterment & forgiveness, come with Zeal & Zest. In the
solo
prayer before Namaz is what one can rehearse about.
AZAN(Adhan),
the call for prayer:
Allaho-Akbar, Allaho-Akbar
(twice): |
God is great & only
God is great. |
Ashado an-La-elaha illallah (twice): |
I bear witness that there is
none worshipable but Allah |
Ash-hado Aanna-Mohammadur
Rasulullah (twice): |
I witness that Mohmmad is the
Rasul(messenger) of Allah |
Haiyya Aals-Salah
(twice): |
You are invited for offering
Namaz |
Haiyya Alal-Falah (twice): |
You are invited for your own
betterment. |
Allaho-Akbar, Allaho-Akbar: |
God is great & only
God is great. |
La-Elaha-Illallah (twice): |
There is none worshipable but
Allah |
After
pronunciation of Adhan (Azan), the Namazees come in the mosque after
piously washing (Wazu) his hands, legs, etc.It is pertinent to note
that they wash their limbs/parts of the body for not less than three
times as because once, twice if you wash any dirt, or liquid there will
be dilution from the same but finally washing, is confirmed after at
least thrice as termed as rinsing. Being, afresh, they start their
Namaz collectively. Collective (Jamat) Namaz has specific value/meaning
& which can not be equalized with any.
I am just putting my little effort to highlight a very few specific
points of Namaz as below:
There are seven conditions for
a salaat to be kept in ones mind:
1* Niyyat (intention)
2* Tahrima (To say Allaho- Akbar)
3* Qiyam (Standing)
4* Qiraat (Recitation of any surrah of the holy Quran)
5* Ruku (To bow)
6* Sajda (Prostration)
7* Qa'da-e- Akhira (Last sitting)
|
Affirmness/Intention/Neeyat (1* Oath for initialization of Namaz): What you are to do, is first
affirmed. For this, one should take an affirmation satatement (Neeyat)
that we are offering the Namaz of particular period &
praiseworthy
rests with the supreme power, the Omnipresent Lord, i.e Allah.
One provocates as : I do hereby take solemnly an affirmation of
offering Namaz of the particular moment (timings) for this much
Rakat(cycle) besides this learned leader (Imam) & facing
towards
Kaba-Sharif & narrating the words with the praise of Allah, who
is
great i.e Allaho- Akbar(2* Tahrima).
After taking this solemnly affirmation with very-very purified
statement that beginning in the name of Allah, the most beneficent and
merciful (3* Qeyam). Thereafter a Surrah(verses/précis of Quran) i.e
Surah-e fateha is pronounced(4* Qerat) & the jist of which is
as
given here under.
Every
praise is for the Lord who is the master of entire universe. The
owner of the day of judgement (Qyamat). There is none to be of so high,
kind & not for praiseworthy except, Allah. O! God! I am praying
to
you to guide me for right (straight) path, the path on which our
predecessors of your followers & not on the path of those upon
whom
effect of devils. O! God, you are the real master, owner, and creator
of this universe.
After the recitation of Surah-e- Fateha , any surrah/Ayat etc. of the
Holy Quran (4* Qerat) as per wish in successive order is rehearsed.(as
per order as in the Quran i.e from 1st para to 30 th para and its
successive order of entry too) Thereafter, Allaho-Akbar ( God
is
great) & then put- forth himself in a Rukun, called Ruku (5*-To
bow
half bent like ‘L’ shaped) & rehearsing the statement of
Shubhan
Rabbi al-Azim (O God, every praise is for yours). Again Allaho-Akbar
(God is great) is rehearsed & then makes one straight and
standing
in position & enchant Allaho-Akbar (God is great) and
Sazdah (6*-Prostration - Shubhan Rabbi al-Ala) is performed (fully
submissive in nature, it is read that O! God! You are omniscient. 3/5/7
times) & rehearsing with Allaho Akbar again stood straightly as
earlier and the whole part is repeated as earlier and according to
2/3/4. Rakat is completed. In case of three/four Rakat , there is a
sitting fascination (7* Qa'da-e- Akhira) is must to reharse tahyat (a
kind of dua) or other wise in 2 and after completion 3/ 4 /2 Tahyat
("Atthayyato Lillahe Wassalawato Wat-Tayyebato Assalamu Alaika
Ayyohan-Nabiyo Wa-Rehmatullahe Wa-Barakatoh Assalamu-Alaina Wa-Ala
Ibadillahis-Sualaiheen Ashadu An La-elaah illal-Laho Wa-Ashadu Anna
Mohammadan Abduhu Wa Rasulohu") and Darood Salam are enchanted and
the assalmo alaikum warahmattullah in right turning and then left
turning once repeated. After that Dua is preferred and the Namaz is
supposed to be completed.
Namaz
comprising a complete submissiveness, praise worthy towards God,
retrospective dialogue with supreme power and the best moment of
surrendering for any type of wrong deeds knowingly or unknowingly. You
can realize that what is not in this form of Namaz. There is every
thing what do you want for your betterment, not only for this world but
also for life, health, knowledge, meditation, yoga, and what not in
such a good form of prayer.
(Insha-Allah , to be continued…………)
