This was precious and a very pleasant event in the life of participants of “Understand Quran-The Easy Way Workshop” held from 2nd Nov to 4th Nov 2012. At the request of “Bihar Anjuman” this 3-days workshop was conducted by Jb. Abdul Raheem Nayeemuddin Sb, the coordinator of “Understand Al-Qur’an Academy, Hyderabad”, at Anand Place, Anand Vihar, Anisabad, Patna. The workshop was jointly sponsored by “Bihar Anjuman” & “Indian Muslim Educational and Social Welfare Trust-Patna”.

The workshop commenced at 8:30 am on 2nd Nov 2012 in the presence of Jb. S.S. Taqiuddin Firdaus Sb., Jb. Wali Rahmani Sb. & Jb. Maulana Rizwan Ahmad Islahi (Ameer-e-Muqami, JIH).

Jb. S.S. Taqiuddin Firdausi Nadwi, the former HOD of Ministry of Education, Gov. of Saudi Arabia, inaugurated the workshop. In his inaugural speech he talked on the topic “Understanding Quran-Necessities and Importance”. According to him the life, character & saying of Prophet Muhammad PBUH have the best explanation of The Holy Quran. The Quran is the only book in which message of our Creator is preserved in its original form. This is the only book which guides us how to live according to the wishes of Allah SWT, so without understanding it is impossible to get success in this world and the hereafter.

After the inaugural speech, Jb. Abdul Raheem Nayeemuddin Sb. welcomed all the participants of the workshop. He congratulated the sponsors and management of the workshop to make such a nice arrangement for a good cause. He delivered a lecture to convince the audience that it is easy to understand Quran. According to him, every tenth word of the Quran is from “Al-Fatiha” so if any one understands the meaning of Surah Al-Fatiha he attains 10% vocabulary of Quranic Words. In Quran Allah SWT says “And We have indeed made the Qur'ân easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?” So we must believe in words of Allah. He convinced that by the grace of Allah SWT after completion of the workshop all of you will be able to understand 50% of Quranic words. He introduced the TPI (Total Physical Ineraction) methodology of teaching. He demonstrated how easy it is to remember words using TPI. The technique developed by Jb Abdulazeez Abdul Raheem, the director of Understand Al-Quran Academy-Hyderabad, is now accepted globally as the best learning method; hence it is being used in various madrasas and academies in India and abroad. The first session ended at 12:00 noon. After Namaz-e-Juma, lunch was provided at subsidized rate to the participants. The second session started at 03:00pm which lasted for two hours. During the workshop, there were arrangements of refreshments. There were separate arrangements for gents and ladies to take rest and offering of Salah during the breaks.

Participants enjoyed learning and understanding new words with amazing speed. The coordinator taught basic Arabic grammar with TPI, which was so impressive that they can’t forget it in their life. As they were learning and understanding the meaning of Holy Quran directly in Arabic they were becoming more excited and enthusiastic. The speech of Jb. Nayeemuddin Sb during the workshop was heart touching and so lesson giving that most eyes were filled of tears.

The 4th Nov. was the last day of the workshop. All the participants were feeling themselves lucky that Allah SWT provided them a chance to attend this auspicious event. All were feeling the difference in themselves. They were now more excited and eager to learn so they demanded next level of the course must be held in Patna. They expressed the desire to have a weekly meet at the same venue to revise the course and studies. Having seen the devotion and enthusiasm of the people the coordinator was much impressed and overwhelmed. The workshop came to end with Dua’ by the coordinator.

On the 5th Nov. managements of the schools in Phulwari Sharif and its nearby area were invited at the same venue to get familiarised with the new techniques and methodology of teaching Arabic in primary and secondary classes. Students of Najam High School were present in this program and they got valuable learning tips and techniques from Jb. Abdul Raheem Nayeemuddin Sb. After this event Jb Abdul Raheem Nayeemuddin Sb. visited School Rahnuma at Harun Nagar sector-2 with the founder & director of the school Jb. Mushtaque-ur-Rahman Sb. All teachers and staff with some of the students of this school were registered for the workshop. This School is for the children of house-maids and labourers. After it Jb. A.R. Nayeemuddin Sb. Visited “New Vision Academy” at Anisabad. A meeting was arranged with Jb. Arshad Siraz the director of the school in which there was discussion on the new techniques of teaching developed by Understand Al-Quran Academy-Hyderabad. After it Jb. A.R. Nayeemuddin Sb. visited “Islamic International School” at Anisabad. Jb Adv. M. Shahazad Rasheed the director of the school was very glad to meet him. He meet the students and encouraged them to do their best. At evening 03:00pm-05:00pm there was an arrangement of public lecture in “Iqra Hall” by Alhira Public School-Sharif Colony Patna. Jb. A.R. Nayeemuddin Sb. was warmed welcomed by the director of the school Jb. Muhammad Anwar Sb. were also present here. In audience there were students and teachers of Alhira Public School along with teachers of other nearby schools. The topic of lecture was “Understanding Quran Challenges and Solution”. Alhamdulillah the lecture was very impressive, audience also experienced the new technique developed by Understand Al-Quran Academy. The management of Al-Hira Public School found this technique so easy and beneficial for students that they are eager to implement the technique and syllabus prepared by the UQ academy in their school. The director also gave a written application to the coordinator to establish a centre of Understand Al-Quran Academy in his school premises.

The last public lecture-cum-Power Point Presentation was held at 5pm arranged by Jamat-e-Islami Bihar Zone at Islamic Centre, Paththar ki Masjid, Patna. In this program many intellectuals and prominent personalities of the city were present along with the common people, for ladies there was special arrangement. The speaker told on the same topic “Understanding Quran Challenges and Solution”. In his lecture he said muslims recite the Quranic verses daily in Salah but they didn’t know what its meaning is. To offer Salah with devotion, concentration and sincerity it is necessary to know what we recite in Salah. We can’t get full essence thought and meaning in the translation of the Quran, as translation in any language is not Quran. People were very pleased and impressed to hear such a nice speech. The program ended with dua by Jb M. Rizwan Sb. Amir-e Muqami Jamat-e-Islami Patna.
On the next day 6th Nov. Jb Abdul Raheem Nayeemuddin went to Hyderabad by Air .
