The
uniqueness of this awards
ceremony was the distribution of woolen shawls to 30 girl students and
woolen
Jackets to 29 male students. These woolen clothes are purchased on
local
donation. The total expense of Rs. 15,500 was donated by:

the coaching centre, for free

Another
remarkable feature was the doubling of
awards amount to Rs. 2,400, all of it donated by Syed Shakeel Ashrafi
Sb, Bihar
Anjuman's moderator from Abu Dhabi. List of awardees follows, below.
Remarkable
improvement has been witnessed during the last one month, and the
overall
improvement overawed most of the guests who expressed that this kind of
improvement was astounding. Subhanallah!
Respected
brother, Md. Irshadullah Sb, Chairman of Sunni Waqf Board offered
Bihar Govt's support to the coaching project. But, Bihar Anjuman's
convenor, Enam Khan Sb, turned down the offer of financial grant by the
government of
Bihar, clarifying that Bihar Anjuman considers these works as the
responsibility of the community members, so funds donated by only
members of
the society are accepted. The presence of UNICEF representative was a
great
inspiration to the teachers, students as well as the coaching centre's
management committee of Bihar Anjuman. Here are some clips for your

3rd Awards Ceremony [8th
November, 2009]
- This
time, our chief guest was Mr. Dilnawaz Ahmad, DSP, Phulwarisharif
Block. Besides him, other persons who were present:
- Rizwan
Khan Sb, co convener of Dammam chapter, Dr.Jawed Jamil Sb, Dr. Shamim
Balkhi Sb, Najmul Hassan Najmi Sb (co-convenor of Patna chapter)
& Enam Khan Sb (convenor of Patna chapter) along with the three
teachers.
- The
award ceremony was covered by reporters of Qaumi Tanzeem, and Pindar -
both Urdu dailies - and by Prabhat Hindi daily of Patna. Rizwan khan Sb
recalled his struggles after his father died when he was 10 years old,
and he was the eldest son. He was forced to study in a govt. school,
worked as a school teacher, before finally reaching Dammam.
- Our
chief guest also shared his struggle on way to becoming a DSP. He also
belongs to poor background but due to hard work, he reached this
position. He was so delighted to meet these students that he promised
to attend every monthly award ceremony at the coaching centre.
- Enam
Khan Sb took this opportunity to explain the aims and objectives of
Bihar Anjuman to the guests who said they were not so fortunate, as
such organizations were not present to support them when they were
students.

Total distribution of Rs. 1,600 as awards,
instead of 1,800 + Rs. 50 to each student - Rs. 3,800 to 76 students,
and Rs. 100 to each teacher - Rs. 300, by brother Shakeel Ashraf,
Dubai = Grand total
of Rs. 5,700/= distributed as awards, on 11-10-2009.

Caoching classes at the centre started on the
4th August, 2009. Formal inauguration was arranged on 6th August, with
Janab Ashraf Farid Sb, proprieter of Qaumi Tanzeem as the chief guest,
in the presence of Maulana Anisur Rahman Qasmi Sb, Nazim of Imarat
Sharia and Chairman of Bihar State Hajj Committee, Janab Enam Khan Sb,
convenor of Patna chapter, Janab Najam Hussain Najmi Sb, chapter's
co-covenor, Janab Manzoorul Haque Sb, ex-Chief editor of BaKhabar,
Janab Anwar Bari Sb, businessman @ Dubai and patron of Bihar Anjuman,
Janab Shamim Balkhi Sb, the project leader of this coaching centre.
